90% done with my Pond!

I have been planning on building this pond for 3 years. Work began this weekend on getting it done.

Saturday, A friend that owns a landscaping company and I started at 9AM and dug the hole, padded the hole, lined the hole, filled the hole, and placed river bed rocks all around the hole. At 8PM, we were tired and hungry. The good news is that we got 75% of the total job done. Tonight (Monday), I ran power down the wall and installed a rainproof outlet for the lighting and pumps. I also installed a spotlight for the courtyard.

Now all we have to do is plant the leafy stuff and dress the area around the pond with pebbles and other natural items.

Make sure to click the pics for larger images to see how beautiful the waterfall looks. I will post complete pics when the rest is done and little fishes are swimming around. The big trouble will be keeping Brett, my two year old, out of the pond!
