Meet Richard

Richard Avatar

Hello all, hailing from sunny Phoenix, Arizona, this is Richard Strattan.  I am 19, have been a tech-geek my whole life, and look forward to sharing my thoughts with all of you.  I have worked both Corporate IT and Computer Sales/Repairs for a retail chain.  I also claim a good deal of experience with computer hardware and software, PDAs, and nearly everything with a bit of silicon in it.  I am familiar with HTML, good with the JAVA programming language, and particularly conversant with desktop PC building and maintenance, as well as overclocking.  I can often be found offering opinions and advice on several technology-related forums, just watch for the avatar above (in Holiday form, currently).  I am currently a student at ASU and in the process of changing my major to either Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering coupled with Physics, most probably.  Although I greatly enjoy my tech. life, I prefer to keep it as a hobby rather than a nuisance of research paper composition and test preparation.  I’ll try to keep you up to date on the newest technology news and releases, as well as provide useful tips and guides for getting the most out of the technology you already own.  Please always feel free to make comments or ask questions if you would like help applying something to your own computer/situation.

Thanks for reading, see you soon!
