No iPaq hw6700 Series, but details surface on the hw6900

Even though HP has jerked me and my sites around over the last year and a half, I am excited about another of their offerings!
As reported by Mike Lohsl, on iPaqHQ late last month, HP is apparently scrapping the hw6700 and jumping right to the hw6900 series Mobile Messenger.
Today a handful of sites posted some info confirming this report by Mike. Engadget says, "Even though we all caught ‘em red-handed with that hw6700 a while back, rumor has it that the hw6500 minus SDIO, plus WiFi, more flash memory, and Windows Mobile 5.0 — aka the hw6700 — is being scrapped and re-upgraded and badged the hw6900."
I really liked the hw6500, there were a few bugs I discovered right before I sent it back to HP and quit their "Web Evangelist" program (That drove most PocketPC sites out), but the unit was nice. I never really got used to the square screen and the gimp processor sometimes got me mad. I never completed my review before sending it back, so all I had was this mini review.
According to Brighthand, this model will have a 416mhz processor, GPS(still), WiFi (802.11b), WM5, and 128mb Rom/64mb Ram.
I think I could forget the square screen if this thing is this suped up. Part of what I didn’t like was the weak processor. On a fresh soft boot, it was fine, but after a while it was sluggish with NO APPS running.
