Samsung YP-Z5 Flash Player to debut at CES 2006

Next in line to try to unseed the "over-glorified" iPod!

"Samsung will be introducing their new YP-Z5 flash-based audio player at the 2006 CES convention in Las Vegas this week.

The YP-Z5 will be available in both 2GB and 4GB capacities, and will feature a 1.8" LCD display, MP3 and WMA audio playback, JPEG photo viewing, DNSe Digital Natural Sound Engine 3D audio processing, and a 38-hour Li-ion battery." - SamsungHQ.com

You will see me report alot about new MP3 players. Other manufacturers going up against the iPod need all the help they can get. The iPod has such a large clamp on the industry that it almost seems useless for others to even come out.

This unit looks promising though, it seems to have a color screen and 38 hours on on charge is obscene. My 20g 1st generation Dell DJ gets 20 or so hours and I love it!
