Sony’s ingenious mouse/phone

This new USB device is the coolest.  It is a computer mouse, but it filps open to transform into a VoIP phone.  There is not a whole lot of information available about it yet as it only appears on one one of Sony’s websites written in Japanese.

This is a great idea in my opinion; I think it would be perfect for those who travel and want to keep in touch via Skype or Google Talk.  It is shown on Sony’s website in five colors: blue, white, black, red and green.

I really love this device.  I hope it becomes available here because I would love to see if it excels at both tasks, and is as well executed as it has the potential to be.

  1. Nice idea but not Practical for me. I often need to talk and use the PC. Will be difficult to navigate the mouse while stuck to my ear!

  2. MacVicar, it would still be nice for those who are traveling and using a laptop, as they would still have the touchpad to navigate while using the phone.
