O ROKR!
Posted by Doug Smith on 03/5/06 in General
The O ROKR post will probably mean more to me than it will to most of you out there because last August was the first time in my life I have ever worn Oakley’s. I wanted them my whole life but because of bad eyes and my inability to get contacts in my eyes, I never could. So it became something I always wanted. But on my birthday last year I got the surprise of my life, my beautiful wife gave me a present, a set of Oakley X Metals with Black Iridium Lenses and a certificate for Lasik Eye Surgery! I love my Oakley’s more than you could image. Especially after not being able to wear "Cool" sunglasses my whole life. So when I spotted the O ROKR on Motorola’s website, I started drooling because of my affinity for Oakley Sunglasses and cool gadgets!
With an enabled Bluetooth phone (such as the Motorola ROKR) or other Bluetooth device, you can now wirelessly connect your very cool Oakley’s and listen to stereo music or take an incoming phone call from up to thirty feet away! For more information and pictures, read on!

Set Life to Music
Wherever you go, let music follow. O ROKR can wirelessly stream music from a compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone or a portable music player with an add-on Bluetooth adapter. Whenever you want to pause the music or change songs, use the buttons on O ROKR to control the music wirelessly.
Stay Connected
When you need to take a call on the go, answer it from O ROKR while your compatible mobile phone rests up to 30 feet away. You get up to approximately 4 hours of talk time and 100 hours of standby time in a hands-free link that’s part of something you’re already wearing. O ROKR supports a host of phone features**, and with a speaker for each ear, it makes calls easier to hear because the sound is more natural.
