$100 Laptop Arrives
The MITX (Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange) What’s Next Forum and Technology Awards was held June 7 in Boston where Nicholas Negroponte, the co-founder of the MIT Media Lab, was inducted into the MITX Innovation Hall of Fame.
What was especially interesting was Negroponte talked about his "new job" where he is serving as the chair of One Laptop per Child association. Of course, all of you most likely remember the goal of the $100 laptop . Not only did he talk about the association but he produced the first working model of the $100 laptop for all those in attendance to see.
I wish I had gone….
