Nike+ iPod Part 2: Let The Shoe Mods Begin!
Posted by Chris Leckness on 07/17/06 in General
It didn’t take long for the modders to figure a way to use the Nike+iPod Sport Kit that I reported on
here, with any shoe. After all, currently Nike is only making two Nike+ shoes for this kit, thus limiting the choice and keeping costs high. The good news for non-do-it-yourselfers: this mod is very easy. Just secure a piece of velcro to any pair of shoes and you’re ready to go. It’s that simple. It just goes to show how powerful marketing can be. Now we know that the "+" in Nike+ stands for a tiny piece of velcro.
