Gadget Ban Alert

You knew it was coming. Put away the iPod. Put away the laptop. Put away all your electronic gadgets because you won’t be flying with them anymore. Today Scotland Yard announced the arrest of 21 people in connection with a supposed terrorist plot to blow up US bound planes from Great Britain. As a result, travelers are banned from bringing gadgets as well as lotions and gels until further notice. Better to be safe and read a good book.

  1. I don’t think I’ll fly…not being able to take my iPAQ, KJAM or Motion Tablet….HORROR! I don’t think I could do it!

  2. The TSA is currently NOT banning electronics from carryons, only liquids.

Thanks for the clarification. England is not allowing electronic gadgets, while neither the US nor the UK are allowing liquids except for baby formula and breast milk. Sorry I wasn’t more clear.

  3. It’s worse than that from the UK, they’re not allowing books and newspapers on the plane. I’m due to go on vacation next week. I really hope there are some good movies as my flight is 10 hours!
