Apple Store Open For Business

The Apple Store has reopened and is shipping the new Nano iPods within 24 hours (according to the site) More is becoming known about these new units as you explore the site. It appears the 2gb Nano will only be avaiable in silver (that’s all you can order it as), the 8gb will only be available in black, and the 4gb will be available in silver, green, blue and pink (the old mini colors). That is all that they are accepting orders for now, and could change.

The new iPod Shuffle, available only as 1gb, will not ship until October, but will have a price of $79.00. It resembles a tie tack, and instead of the USB connector on the old one will have it’s own dock connector.
