SOYO Announces “FreeStyler” Bluetooth Stereo Headphone and Transmitter Combo — Answer Phone Calls, Listen to Music or Talk on Skype

ONTARIO, CA (September 18, 2006) — SOYO Group Inc. (OTCBB: SOYO), a leading global provider of computer, consumer electronics and broadband telecommunications products, today announced a new Bluetooth stereo headphone and transmitter combo, which allows users to listen to music; make and answer Skype phone calls; or serve as a hands-free headset to use with any Bluetooth-equipped cell phone.

The SOYO FreeStyler HS11 is an ear-hook type wireless stereo headphone. It can be used with any Bluetooth-supported cell phone to provide hands-free mobile phone conversations.

The companion FreeStyler stereo transmitter (TX10) has a standard 3.5mm audio jack, which can be plugged into any supported CD player, MP3 player, computer, Hi-Fi receiver or TV. It allows users to listen to music, DVD movie audio, as well as take incoming phone calls. Once the call is completed the FreeStyler HS11 will automatically switch back to the music.

“Our new FreeStyler HS11 not only complies with the hands-free cell phone use laws being passed in many states in the US, it doubles as a wireless stereo headphone to allow our customers enjoy music privately and wirelessly up to 10 meters away from the source,” said Ming Chok, SOYO Group CEO.

In addition, the FreeStyler HS11 headphone can be used as a remote control for the music playing functions of your Bluetooth device if it supports Bluetooth AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile).  AVRCP was designed to provide a standard interface to remotely control the music playback in the source device. This includes pausing, stopping, and starting playback and volume control as well as other types of remote control operations.  SOYO bundles a RCA to 3.5mm jack converter for TV and DVD player output and a mini-USB 4-pin cable for charging.

Play time of the SOYO FreeStyler HS11 is up to six hours with its lithium-polymer battery. The device weighs just over 1 ounce. List price of the SOYO FreeStyler is $179.
