Microsoft releases final version of IE7

Stan Beer posted a story today on the final release of IE7.  In part, Stan said:

The newly released IE7 includes many of the catchup features that have long been available on competing Windows browsers Firefox and Opera, including a search box in the toolbar and tabbed browsing.

“We listened carefully to our customers and are delivering a safer browser that makes the tasks they do every day much easier,” said Dean Hachamovitch, general manager of the Internet Explorer team at Microsoft.

From the Microsoft IE7 page, the first thing you read is that “ Simple is good. A redesigned, streamlined interface gives you more of what you need and less of what you don’t. The new look maximizes the area of the screen that displays the webpage”.

It looks good folks….try it, I think you will like it!
