What Do You Do With A Pumpkin….

….after you grow it?

Well, some folks display them.  Bill Clark from Bristol Maine had this prize winning pumpkin on display at Pinkham Plantation in Damariscotta, Maine.  Clearly this is a little OFF TOPIC but I thought it was cool and thought I’d share with you.  Winter is fast approaching here in Maine so folks will do anything to enjoy the water…..

Other folks like to show their creative carving skills as shown here with this spectacular carving.

And still others just want to enjoy the wonders of the Maine coast and spend the day on the ocean…in their boat.

This year, Bill Clark and Buzz Pinkham had a joint effort in growing their giant pumpkins which resulted in two of the top three largest pumpkins in the state of Maine.  Clearly, the team effort paid off so they decided to enjoy a day on the ocean…in their pumpkins!

Additional photo’s and a couple of video clips are on the next page.  Take a peek and see these guys motor around Damariscotta….it was very cool!
