Another cell phone music service?
Posted by Jack Cook on 11/1/06 in Cingular
The Wall Street Journal reported today that Cingular Wireless will shortly launch a music service on its cell phone network.
This certainly adds a little more heat into the fires of music services. Hey, it’s money for the taking and they all see it and want a piece of the pie.
So what will be good about this service? What will make it become the choice of a Cingular user? Initially you will be able to transfer music from your computer to your cell by cable….that’s not too exciting. But you will be able to transfer music acquired from subscription services… now that is good. In addition, all those songs you have stockpiled from CDs and have saved as MP3s will be able to be transferred too……
More will coming!
