Microsoft to release pro Vista Today

Today is the day that businesses get an opportunity purchase Microsoft’s NEW operating system, Vista. This applies to those businesses that purchase “bulk” Windows licenses. Unfortunately (or fortunately as the case may be), consumers still have to wait which is good in my opinion for the consumer but clearly a shot in the “back side” for PC manufacturers.
With an expected huge rollout in the business community, major “hidden flaws” will surface, huge support will come from Microsoft to the business community, fixes will be made and the end result is that the consumer will most likely get a product that will be stronger. So don’t fret that you have to wait … it may well be a good thing!
Brian Bergstein, an AP Technology writer, posted an article today that was an interesting read. In part he said the following:
Microsoft and computer vendors contend that Vista will make Windows machines more secure, powerful and graphically dynamic, especially when combined with other products Microsoft is releasing simultaneously. Those include new back-end server software for businesses, as well as Office 2007, which brings sweeping changes to widely used programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
It’s not a bad article and worth the read. You can read Brian’s post, Microsoft to release pro Vista today, here
