Samsung SCH-i760 - A Treasure?

Samsung was showing an SCH-i760 at the Media Only Event from Pepcom called Digital Focus. The big problem with this phone, other than the goofy, out of place cd-like dpad, is that this unit had no battery. We can "trust" what Samsung tells us about this interesting looking Windows Mobile Device.
What we know is that it is supposed to come out on an carrier that has EV-DO (sorry Cingular and T-Mobile). It will be running Windows Mobile AKU3. We also know that it has a slide out keyboard and is pretty slim.
