Apple delays new operating system
Posted by Jack Cook on 04/12/07 in Apple
Apple Inc. has indicated that it was delaying the release of its new OS (code-named Leopard) with a result that its shares fell 3 percent. Don’t worry, it will rise dramatically when the iPhone has its initial release.
And speaking of the iPhone … all reports indicate that it is on time, on schedule and just waiting to land in your hands sometime in late June (as long as it continues to pass its testing). Apple said it had to divert resources to the iPhone to keep it on schedule.
Apple said: “iPhone contains the most sophisticated software ever shipped on a mobile device, and finishing it on time has not come without a price — we had to borrow some key software engineering and … resources”.
