Thank You Cases.com and BuyGPSnow.com

I want to thank and recognize both of these companies for their long and faithful support to both Aximsite and Mobilitysite. Both BuyGPSnow.com and Cases.com (orginally Aximcases.com) have been onboard with my websites since early 2003. I really want to thank them for helping make these sites possible. If not for them and our 1st advertiser, Applian Technologies, the site might not have made it through the huge growth in 2003. We went from 500 to 20000 members in less than 3 months and server cost skyrocketed. Anyhow, thanks to these great advertisers. Let me tell you a little about both of these companies now.

Cases.com
Cases.com started out advertising on Aximsite as Aximcases.com and they evolved from a great store to get a Dell Axim case into a great place to get a PDA case into the case giant they are today. Cases.com has cases for pretty much any mobile devices these days. They even have their own brand of cases too, Aluron. Please make sure to check out Cases.com before you purchase your next case.

BuyGPSnow.com
BuyGPSnow is just that, a place to buy GPS products. Initially Joe Kee, one of the main minds behind the company, was stocking mainly Pocket PC related GPS products. Bluetooth receivers, Mapping software, etc. Now, they have created their own product too. OnCourse Navigator. Joe Kee is real active in the community as well and like cases.com, their customer service is top notch.

Although these guys haven’t been on board quite as long, they should also be mentioned since each of the following are great supporters of the sites as well:

Yesterday, I got an angry email from another webmaster that was REAL PISSED with my views on website advertising and RSS feed ads. It’s pretty funny, his site looks like Las Vegas too!!! Anyhow. Reading and eventually ignoring the rant, I reflected on how advertising is good too. I have ads, I must have some for certain costs, but there is a point when too much is too much. This made me think about the advertisers I have had over the years that have helped make it where I didn’t have to worry about costs to run the site. I posted the following on Aximsite and Mobilitysite.
