It might be a tad premature to poke the flag into the ground and claim victory, but I feel confident enough to do it anyhow.
For the past 3 days, 90% of my upgrade/merger efforts have been with the issues on the performance of the servers. With the help of Corey from m3server.com (my local host), we have isolated the script that was the problems. This script was generating dozens of queries to the database that was creating 180mb temp tables and taking 2-10 minutes to run. In 5 minutes, this temp table was 5gb. We isolated the file and disabled the function.
That said, it’s time to move forward and finish fixing problems now, but 1st I have to clean out my inbox. I have been neglecting incoming email while working with this issue.
