VoIP Watch: … The Rumors are Flying

Andy Abramson is saying the Rumors are Flying. Verizon Wireless Limits Mobile Broadband!
A little birdie told me that users of Verizon Wireless’ Broadband Connect product now are being capped at 4 Gigs a month. That pales to what I’m also hearing from other sources that the prospect of Verizon Wireless and Verizon merging is looming. It seems that Verizon Wireless folks are hearing talk of their work forces being combined too. This likely ties in with the prospect of AT&T buying or merging with Vodafone to be a global telco. M&A is in the air and the industry is ripe for consolidation.
I don’t like this news … it really makes me unhappy! I use Verizon because it works well in my area. When I am away from my PC, it goes on and stays on.
