AsiaInfo to Service the Deployment of China Mobile’s Next Generation IP Infrastructure

AsiaInfo, a leading provider of telecom software solutions and IT security products and services, today announced that it has signed a contract with China Mobile, the world’s largest mobile operator, to service the deployment of its next generation IP infrastructure.
Under the terms of the agreement, AsiaInfo will provide advanced professional services to the project including making technical specifications, supervising integration, network design, network traffic analysis, as well as network performance evaluation and optimization.
The network will support voice, data, and video services, and will serve as the carrying network for China mobile’s future 3G, NGN, and enterprise VPN services. It will adhere to world-class standards for service quality, reliability, and security.
