Mobile Applications to be Showcased at All-Star Celebration tonight

Barry Bonds and Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club will showcase their mobile applications, designed by Bling Software, Inc., at tonight’s All-Star Celebration. The invitation-only event will take place at Roe in San Francisco. Athletes and celebrities expected to attend include Barry Bonds, Alfonso Soriano, Nick Lachey, Alyssa Milano, Gary Payton and many others.
Barry Bonds and Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club has partnered with Bling Software to design custom-built applications for fans.
“I enjoyed working with my team at Bling Software to create anapplication that bridges the gap between sports and mobile technology,”said Bonds. “For the first time, I can reach fans wherever they are withexclusive information, and updates on my pursuit for the home run record.I’m excited to showcase the application at the All-Star Celebration.”
- Sports fans can visit Barry Bonds Mobile to download the Barry Bonds Home Run Counter, a mobile application that will alert subscribers each time Barry Bonds hits a home run as he continues his chase for number 756. Fans will also have access to exclusive content from Bonds’ online journal as well as “quick facts” on each of Bonds’ home run milestones including date, pitcher, team and more.
- Music fans can visit 40/40 Club Mobile to download the Jay-Z 40/40 Club All Access Pass, a mobile application that allows subscribers to request VIP access to 40/40 Clubs. In addition, fans will be notified of exclusive New York and Atlantic City 40/40 Club events, and will receive behind the scenes event photos and downloadable wallpapers.
Both mobile applications are available through AT&T and Sprint and require a monthly subscription.
