TRAVELFOTO Desktop Digital Photo Display/Alarm Clock

mus Several days ago I saw that Mustek USA had introduced their new TRAVELFOTO digital photo frame/alarm clock.  It appeared as a cool desktop accessory but I was not sure how useful it really was but over the past several days as I was looking through my email, I kept looking at the press release nad for some reson I never deleted it … I was unsure if I would post it.

Today after a conversation I had with a friend who travels a great deal I decided to post it because it is something that can enhance your ability to Experience Mobility when you are away.  He said he missed his family, his home, his car and the ability to see all that he enjoyed.  I asked if he carried pictures  …. “just the family” he replied. and then I thought about this travel clock.  It’s small, easy to pack and will give you some sense of what you miss the most when you are away.

About the size as a deck of cards, the freestanding TRAVELFOTO features a 1.5-inch CSTN LCD color screen that displays JPEG or BMP formatted photos in bright, detail-rich 128 x 128 resolution. Users can load up to 70 photos on TRAVELFOTO’s internal flash memory, plus it lets anyone easily create a fun slideshow that switches stored photos every ten seconds. Uploading digital photos to TRAVELFOTO is done via its USB 1.1 port.

Besides showcasing favorite photos, TRAVELFOTO also has a practical side. Its bright LCD displays time and date with year, along with indoor temperature. In addition, its alarm clock has a buzzer to wake up even the heaviest sleeper .

The Mustek TRAVELFOTO (PF-E150) comes with Windows® driver CD, USB cable, lithium battery, 2 AAA batteries, and Getting Started package. MSRP is $39.99 (U.S.). It is expected to ship August 2007.
