It may not be pretty but …
… I have to agree with Engadget when they say this Wibrain product sample is strangely appealing.
Is it the trackpad, the “basic” design, or the appearance that the keys look like they will fit any finger? I’m not sure but there is something that is rather intriguing at first glance. Aving had the following to say:
It adopts 4.8-inch touchscreen LCD having 1024×600 resolution and runs on VIA C7M ULV CPU/VX700 GPU which enables users to enjoy high performance at moderate price. Containing 802.11b/g WLAN, Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and 0.3M camera, it is also planned to feature GSM/GPRS/EDGE 4 band and HSDPA 3band.
Other features include Qwerty keyboard, scroll wheel, buttons for page(up/down) and mouse(left/right) and hold key.
With three CPU’s to select from (1GHz, 1.2GHz and 1.6GHz) and three different HDDs to choose from (30GB, 60GB and 80GB), this device might well have some serious potential if exterior looks is not on the top of your list.
