Asus R300 and Asus R700 GPS - Very Nice!

scan If you are looking for a multimedia/GPS navigation device then here are a couple of entries from Asus expected to launch in Europe late this Fall.  The Unwired View credited Mobinaute for finding some user manuals of the Asus - R300 and R700.  You have to admit … the scan looks real nice!

Asus R300 is lower end stand alone GPS navigator that will be able to play various media files, including MP3, WMA, AAC audio and MPEG-4, H.263 video.

Asus R300 Multimedia Navigator will be 13.7 mm thick, weight 300 gr and have 3.5″ touchscreen with 400 MHz Samsung CPU, 128/64 MB of memory and 1300 mAh battery inside. It will also come with built-in FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, MicroSD memory card slot, optional TMC and ability to receive SMS messages.

Asus R700 is high end stand alone navigator with big 4.3″ 480×272 px touchscreen, 126 X 80 X 13,5 mm dimensions, 260 gram weight and integrated RDS-TMC traffic receiver. It’s other specs are pretty similar to Asus R300: 400 MHz Samsung CPU, 128/65 Mb memory, audio.video player and Bluetooth 2.0.
