"It is all Greek" to Spb Software Users

Spb Software House is taking steps to meet the needs of its Greek-speaking customers, thoroughly localizing its www.spbsoftwarehouse.com online recourse into Greek. The company’s main portal is currently localized into 14 languages, with one more to be added to the list by the end of 2007.
“Our websites are a powerful instrument for not only making our Pocket PC and Smartphone software more popular, understandable, and easy to purchase, but for extending after-sales support to our existing customers,” comments the head of the localization group at Spb, Vladimir Nestorovich, - “we localize the products, the portals, the interaction, hence the people using our products are more than just customers, they are a community.”
The company’s main support resource - the spbclub.com - is localized into 14 languages as well, with separate full-fledged forums discussions running in Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, French, and German. From the beginning of the year, Spb Software House has managed to attract over 4000 Greek visitors to its website and several hundred speakers of Greek have become Spb customers. With the launch of this new all-Greek portal section, the Spb localization team hopes to further improve the software shopping and use experience for Greek-speaking customers. “We’ll keep localizing, we are devoted to internationalization,” concludes Vladimir.
