Fujitsu Delivers Low-Cost LifeBook V Series Notebooks

Solid Performance, High Reliability and Low Cost Appeal to SoHo, SMB, and Education Markets

image Fujitsu announced today the availability of the LifeBook  V1010 notebook designed for price-conscious markets, such as home office-based and small businesses as well as educational segments. Starting at under $800 and delivering the performance and reliability usually associated with higher-priced LifeBook models, the LifeBook V1010 notebook eliminates the need to sacrifice quality for a lower price.

“The Fujitsu LifeBook V Series expands the company’s reach into price-conscious markets, which place equally high priority on reliability and price,” said Paul Moore, senior director of mobile product marketing, Fujitsu Computer Systems. “The high-performance LifeBook V1010 notebook offers excellent value, delivering all the computing power and features these markets need with the quality Fujitsu is known for, and at a price they have been longing for.”

Priced starting at just $799, the full-sized LifeBook V1010 features a 15.4-inch wide Crystal View high-contrast display, 120 GB hard drive, and Atheros Super AG Wireless LAN, dual-layer multi-format DVD writer, and spill-resistant keyboard.

The LifeBook V1010 notebook offers a choice of operating systems, including Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Professional, and a choice of processors, including the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5200 and the Intel Pentium Dual Core T2130.

The LifeBook V1010 notebook is available immediately through authorized Fujitsu channel partners and the Fujitsu website.
