Visto Announces Availability of Visto Mobile for Apple iPhone

With Visto Mobile, iPhone users have secure access to corporate email without downloading any additional software or requiring changes to corporate firewall settings.

Visto, the leading global provider of mobile email, today announced the availability of Visto Mobile for the Apple iPhone for individuals and corporate IT departments. iPhone users will be able to securely access corporate email from Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes on their devices, without downloading any additional software to the iPhone or requiring any changes to security policies or corporate firewall settings.

Visto is also announcing a new capability for the iPhone — directory
lookup for the corporate directory. Using the iPhone’s Safari web browser,
this feature enables individuals to search for any contact and either place
a call, send an email or get driving directions by selecting the contact’s
phone number, email address or physical address.

Visto Mobile takes advantage of the iPhone user interface as well as
its existing email and phone features to deliver an easy-to-use, consistent
experience that is optimized for the iPhone. Users will be able to send and
receive attachments, receive rich HTML email and view emails as they were
originally sent.

Visto Mobile for iPhone is available for both individuals and enterprises free for 60 days. After 60 days, pricing will begin at $10 per device per month. Consumers can obtain more information and register to use the service at http://www.vistomobile.com/iphone.
