The ASUS U2 is an 11-inch luxury ultraportable that has a leather covering coupled with copper etching and a stainless steel frame.
Weighing in at 2.8 pounds, it has an LED-lit LCD and the option of a 32GB solid-state drive. Electronista reported that a stock U2 is driven by a 1.06GHz ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo and will come with at least an 80GB conventional hard disk, 802.11a/b/g wireless, and a variant of Windows Vista. In addition, there are two memory slots in the small space that allow as much as 4GB of memory.
