AT&T Announces Best-Selling Ringtones of 2007

AT&T today announced the top 10 most downloaded ringtones of 2007.

  1. Shop Boyz - “Party Like a Rockstar”
  2. Mims - “This Is Why I’m Hot”
  3. Soulja Boy - “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”
  4. Nickelback - “Rockstar”
  5. Akon - “Don’t Matter”
  6. T-Pain - “Buy You A Drank (Shawty Snappin)”
  7. Hurricane Chris - “A Bay Bay”
  8. Sean Kingston - “Beautiful Girls”
  9. Huey - “Pop, Lock & Drop It”
  10. Fergie - “Big Girls Don’t Cry”

There are more than 40,000 ringtones available to match each customer’s
personal style. For more information on available ringtones, visit
http://www.att.com/mediamall or click on the AT&T Music icon from an AT&T
wireless handset.

Customers can purchase ringtones a la carte for $2.49 or sign up for
AT&T’s MyMedia Club for a monthly charge. Through MyMedia Club, subscribers get credits that can be redeemed for ringtones, graphics and games in the MEdia Mall. Subscribers can choose from three subscription options for savings up to 40 percent on purchases. Packages start at $5.99 a month.

Through the holidays, AT&T is offering customers “Jingle Bells,” “The
Dreidel Song” and “Noche de Paz” as ringtones free of charge. To obtain one of the free ringtones, customers must simply send a text message with the word GIFT to the number 7230. They will receive a text message with a link to download their free ringtone or game. Normal data-usage charges apply during download, based on the customer’s data plan.

In addition, customers who are looking for last-minute gifts or
stocking stuffers can purchase Tone E-cards for their friends and family
members. The Tone E-Cards, valued at $9.99 or $19.99, can be ordered online at http://www.att.com/tonecard. After receivers gets an e-mail message with the code, they can shop for ringtones or graphics at MEdia Mall and redeem the gift by entering the eight-digit code in the Coupon/Tone Card Code field on the Ringtone or Graphic Purchase page.
