Gear Diary gets some hands on time with the new i-mate at CES 2008

In September we saw the launch of i-mate 6150 and 8150 and in October we had some specs fpr the i-mate 8502 and 9502.

At CES 2008 last week Judie Lipsett and Jerry Raia of Gear Diary had a chance to have a meeting with i-mate and get some hands on time with i-mate’s 8502, 9502, 6150, and 8150 (select device to go to i–mate page with official specifications for each device)

No word on release dates or prices but they look and sound great!

  1. I pre-ordered the 9502 at mobileplanet back in November. They still have my order, but have recently removed the item from their online catalog (it still exists at expansys’s site). Not sure if that’s just in error, they’re going to update it to the current specs, or what…?

Mobileplanet has end of january as their expect date. I have chatted at clubimate twice and gotten “end of february” and “not before march 1st” as their expect date(s) for USA.

It hasn’t been through FCC yet. I’m not getting hopes up too high at this point.
