What is the Sony Walkman 4GB (NWZ-A816)?
It’s a teeny tiny, beautiful media player from Sony. You will be getting the gently used device that hyedipin reviewed a few months ago. You can also take a look at my little demo here.
The deadline is February 29th 2008 and anyone can win, including staff. Just comment on this post and tell us why you want this little beauty.

Its so tiny, I’ve gots to have me one of these.
I looked at one of these the other day. The place I work for (LeBonheur Childrens Hospital) won’t let me use my cell phone/pda for music or use when I’m on the helicopter or ambulance. (with or without a patient). One of those would be great to kill time with or listen to continuing education classes between calls.
I need one of these because it has more memory than the Sansa that I currently use… and, because it’s newer!
My wife really needs something like this for the gym.

My iPod battery died hard recently and so I have been using my iPaq 4355 as a MP3 player …. I need something more real!
Also, I am starting a new job out in another state, which will mean driving back and forth for weekends … I’ll really get the use out of this on the trips!

This is very nice looking, and I like the SE T637 I’ve been using for a few years. This would be great to have!
Bascially, i think i should have one because atm i have only got my d600 phone to use as a music player, i never had a mp3 player before only a music phone, and i dont have enough money to acutally get one nice as this.

The last few years I haven been realing getting into the MP3 player scene. My first player was was some no name 64mb player a friend gave me for Christmas. My next player was a 256 RCA Lyra I bought on clearance from OfficeMax. I thought I had really stepped up. It was not until i got my Sansa 1gb player that I knew I need more. Eventually I got the Zune 30 and I haven’t looked back. All this time my mother has been wondering what the big deal was. I would love to win this player for her. I let her use some of my other players and she’s been hinting that she wants one of her own. I would love to win this for her to get her into the mp3 scene.
Saw the demo on YouTube, seems like a really awesome device and as mentioned on the demo I trust Sony products more.

I would like to win this for my brother. His birthday is today Feb. 11 now 16 and he has never had a real birthday, no birthday cake, no candles to blow, and no presents. Want because I LOVE the audio from Sony’s mp3 walkmans. It’s my favorite by far. The bass is what really sells it. It can boom very smoothly without making my Sennheiser HD280s sound all sandy and distorted. This is something that most mp3 players can offer.
I love da look .It has all the features which agood Mp3 player should have in it.the sound quality is amazing.If I win this player I would be the first in my country to get it
We might be going out west this summer. It’s going to be a very long trip on the road, and I’d love to have an mp3 player. I have never had anything mp3 or ipod in my life. I had two CD players, but they both broke. I have been looking at the mp3 players, but i was overjoyed when i saw i had a chance to win this one. I hope i get picked :)

I’m glad that Sony has finally decided to depart from SonicStage and Connect in getting their music onto their Walkman brand digital players. Sony has always put out players with stellar audio quality, and premium build quality. But their proprietary music management programs have given their efforts a bad reputation. Now they are including impressive 260K video playback to go along with the audio playback and the always outstanding battery life. I would definitely like to own this little player…
This would be very cool … Someone stoled my last mp3 player .
I was surfing looking for something I could get to take with me when I work on military deployment operations. I have worked on a couple of operations assisting the troops prior to deployment. We work on mobile units and it is nice to have some music while we work. I have not made a purchase yet but will soon as there are many more of these events scheduled and I can’t stand being in a big bus 8 to 12 hours with no music. Since we have to fly to get to our work sites, music must be protible and audible. SO, I am looking at an MP3 player and docking station I can easily pack and play.
Nice walkman!my opinion? the best walkman player! an even the best player.It’s small, it plays video in its 2 inch screen,up to 8 hours video playback and 33 hours audio… i bet the one who’s gonna win this, is VERY, VERY LUCKY!!!
I would love to win this one to give to my youngest daughter as her dad seems to foget about her when he hands out the tech gadgets to the other two. I just loaded my 10 year olds with all the Kidz Bop and Disney tunes she will ever want to hear.
I need this. I was using my KRZR phone as my MP3 player and last weekend it craches again. This was the 4th one that they gave me under warranty in a year and a half. Now I have ny old phone and no MP3 player. BTW don’t get a KRZR!

This really looks and seems like a beautiful mp3 player. I would like to win this because I just recently was laid off, and I’m having trouble finding a new job. Also, my girlfriend’s birthday is next month. She’s really wanted an mp3 player for a long time, but she can’t afford one, and neither can I with my job loss. It would be the greatest gift for her.
