Keyboard Fix for Verizon XV6800
Posted by Jack Cook on 02/8/08 in Pocket PC Phones
Christopher Price PhoneNews.com noted today that UTStarcom has posted a driver fix for the HTC XV6800 on Verizon. The update is meant to fix issues with the slide-out keyboard. It is interesting that the “fix” came from UTStarcom. He also noted that HTC in recent years has begun to handle end-user support, device update releases, and even now brands CDMA handsets with the HTC logo.
What was of particular interest was his indication that HTC’s web site makes no mention of the update, even on their own XV6800 support page. Well, it is there so if you need it …. GO GET IT!
