PCmover - for FREE!!
SAVE THIS LINK because on May 15, Laplink celebrates 25 years as the global leader for file transfer, synchronization, remote access, and migration.
To celebrate this milestone, Laplink is offering a free copy of PCmover on May 15th but only to those that visit their web site. No purchase necessary, no strings attached, and no gimmicks.
PCmover automatically moves selected files, folders, settings, and even applications from an old PC to a new one. It’s the #1 selling migration product and is widely regarded as the best migration solution available. PCmover is even recommended by the official magazines for Windows XP and Vista.
The normal price for a download of PCmover is $50, but for one day only it’s completely free. Sometimes you might get a cup of coffee free, but not a $50 – but then, not every day is Laplink’s 25th birthday.
In addition to free copies of PCmover for everyone, many other products are free or nearly free; including, free Gateway laptops, free Targus laptop bags, free Microsoft products, free Laplink 2 GB USB sticks, products like Spy Sweeper, Registry Booster, PerfectDisk, and more. (Visit www.laplink.com for a complete list and applicable rules and restrictions.)
Join the celebration today. Learn more at www.laplink.com and get your free stuff. And while you are at it, rediscover Laplink and what Laplink is doing today.
PCmover is the only migration utility that moves programs, files, and settings from your old PC to your new PC. Simply install PCmover on both your old and new computers and go! PCmover will determine which programs, files, and settings need to be moved, and when the transfer is complete, your new computer will have the personality and functionality of your old PC plus all of its own pre-installed software. Works with almost any Windows operating system, from Windows 95 to Vista.
NEW! Now with PCmover’s selectivity features, you can choose which applications, folders and files to take with you when you migrate to your new PC.
PCmover can migrate your PC across a network, Laplink USB cable, Laplink parallel cable, Windows Easy Transfer Cable, or any type of removable media that can be read by both PCs. If your computer has multiple users, PCmover gives you the option to migrate some or all of the users at once. The security information about file ownership and access control is preserved for each user. You can even use PCmover to migrate your PC to an Intel-based Mac.

Seriously - good on Laplink, and congrats on 25 years. I think I first used a LL product 22 years ago, and the few times I needed them, they never let me down. I think I just threw away a yellow parallel link cable a few months ago.
OK, so where’s this free link? Am I missing something on their home page?
@zeb it’s not the 15th yet
I first used pcmover to migrate my oldest son’s pc to his laptop when he left for college. It was such a time saver that I introduced Laplink to my company and have now used the software to transfer at least 300 PCs to date. The time and money we have saved thanks to PCmover has been astronomical. From home to business, this software has been a lifesaver. Congratulations Laplink and thankyouthankyouthankyou for years of great service! I hope the free offer brings many new delighted customers into your world!
The promotion is actually running right now. Load times a little slow so I’m assuming a lot of people are taking up this offer.
Well, I’ve been trying for the past two hours and NO free download. Typed in “25YEARS” and it tells me “! The coupon code you entered is invalid. If you have questions about this, please contact the publisher.” Looks like a scam to me. :(
How could giving away software for free not slow down the site? Every experience I have had leads me to think they will take care of the clients this delay causes. You should be patient if someone is giving you something for FREE, don’t you think?
Got mine yesterday… worked first time :)
I see that it’s working now. Unfortunately, I can’t download at work and it will probably be gone by the time I get home later today. :(
you can go through the hoops and get the reg code, then DL it later.
Worked for me. Downloading it right now.
