mDesktop 1.1 officially out, win a copy! (contest time)
So some of you probably remember when I did an article on Motion Apps’ mDesktop program, that was really overall positive but had a few complaints to the bugs in the program. Well now I’m happy to announce that mDesktop version 1.1 is officially out, 
with a new revamped GUI, and new increased functionality, and you betcha, a whole lot less bugs. I had the opportunity to use this software first hand and I must say, I’m very impressed with the new version. The SMS function is much more streamlined now and visually appealing (visible to the right). Plus it functions much more smoothly. An extreme amount of the bugs have been worked out too.
New features have been added in of course. The system now autoconnects both over USB and Bluetooth connections to your phone. So now you can use mDesktop without having to physically tether your phone to your computer (if that was a big thing for you). More after the break, including details on winning a copy of mDesktop.
Also, they’ve included some other features including a new preferences system that allows you greater configuration control of the unit, more contact related options 
(including adding, viewing, editing, and deleting contacts), and enhanced file operations as well.
