RadioShack thinks Blackberry runs Windows Mobile

Either it is bad marketing, or just advertisement without research or just a way to cause a stir, but it is nothing but a bad mesh-up of Windows Mobile 6 on a Blackberry Curve screen by RadioShack marketing dept.
The good thing that we get out of this silly image, is the fact that they are offering GPS enabled 8300 for $50 with 2-Year sell-your-soul agreement, although I did get mine for $250 last September.

Micorsoft launches TellMe for Blackberry with Voice recognition
Posted by hyedipin on 04/23/08 in Blackberry, Microsoft, RIM, Smart Phones, Software
Tell Me, a service that has been known for its simple 800-555-TELL phone number, is now available to download as stand-alone application for Blackberry devices with GPS capability. The software allows you to search for directions, movies, traffic information, and business by saying the name of the item on your device.
While the complexity of the phone is increasing, new interfaces such as touch are making access to information and services much easier. However even touch remains a challenging interface to use when walking, driving or multitasking at home or work.
TellMe is expected to rival with Yahoo’s one search and Google’s Maps
application which supports both physical GPS signals or by using GSM triangulation “Virtual GPS”. We could not test it on our Blackberry Curve, because the application is not supported by 8300 device. Supported devices are8800, 8820, 8830, and 8310.
Tell Me was acquired by Microsoft in 2007 for $800 Million.

Review: Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro

Reviewer: Huseyin Yedipinar for Mobilitysite / March 2008
Vendor: Logitech (Link to product page) Part Number PN 968011-0403
MSRP: $79.99 (Available from online retailers as low as $45, at the time of review $60 at Amazon)
When I received the unit from Logitech, I expected something simple, light, low-quality plastic and somewhat hallow unit. It was nothing but high quality, glossy, matching black, perfectly balanced and just the right weight keyboard. Nicely priced at the time of review at $60, even better when it was on sale last month at Amazon for $45, this keyboard is the second in the line of Logitech MediaBoard PS3 series, the original Logitech PS3 MediaBoard came with USB Adapter with RF transmitter, and was based on 2.4Ghz wireless technology. It worked perfectly well with Linux, but did not have dedicated buttons, and was priced just $10 less than this one. This unit is Bluetooth, does not require any adapters or transmitters, and works right out of the box with your PS3 or your PC without any drivers, installations, or long setup process…
