Video Unboxing of the AT&T Blackberry Pearl

I shot this video back when I got the Blackberry Pearl in May. I never got around to uploading, so here it is. Since this video, I bought my wife a Red Pearl as well.

There are some photos from back on May 15th here at Mobilitysite as well.

HTC Shift Video 1st Look

Ever since CTIA Wireless at a dinner with HTC where they showed the Shift, I have really been excited to get some serious hands on time with it. You see, we were able to play with, but not change anything, take photos, or anything else fun with the Shift at this dinner. Now, it’s playtime. Unfortunately, I have decided to let Steven Borders give us the full spin. Not unfortunate for you guys though, Steven will do a great job working the Shift into the automotive work force. I will take some time to test it out on my end for the next day or two though.

Here is my  video 1st look at the HTC Shift…

Video : Freedom Blade Cell Antenna - WOW!!!

Here is a little demo video I shot of how effective the Freedom Blade cell antenna is. This $50 range extender took me from no bars to 4 bars in the middle of the 2nd floor of a 3 story brick building. I am throrouly impressed with this antenna.

The Freedom Blade is a small, sleek cell antenna booster that is perfect for those who travel or are on the go frequently. When using with laptop AirCards where the signal is not optimal, this antenna will increase your data speed. With a large diversity of signal strengths across wireless networks in airports, hotels & other remote locations, increased data speeds makes your wireless experience more rewarding. The Freedom Blade works with all major wireless carriers and technologies.

For more info, head to Arc Wireless.

Sandisk Sansa Fuze Video 1st Look

I’ve enjoyed the Sansa series of players from Sandisk in the past. They are priced well and work as advertised. When Sandisk announced the Sansa Fuze, I knew I had to take a look.

The Sansa Fuze comes in 5 colors (Blue, Black, Red, Pink, and Silver) and come in 2gb, 4gb, and 8gb sizes. In addition to the built in flash memory, the Fuze also has a MicroSD slot. You can get more info on the Sansa Fuze at Sandisk.

Well, I’ve gotten the 8GB Silver Sansa Fuze and you can check out the video below for the unboxing, device comparison, and 1st look at the UI. I also decided to do something new with this video. Since Mobilitysite has 1400+ subscribers on YouTube, I thought it would be nice to reward one of the YouTube followers. I have a contest going on over at YouTube so double click on the video to visit the page on YouTube.

Thanks for watching.

Video 1st Look - Samsung Ace from Sprint

With all the upgrades, server moves, redesigns and such, I have been a little absent from the “looking at” new stuff. I am back on track and will start it off with an awesome phone from Sprint. It’s the Samsung Ace. The video is a bit longer than normal and I could have covered all that I did in 7-8 minutes, but hey… I can make movies longer, so why not. :)

Thanks for watching!

Verizon Samsung SCH-i760 Unboxed

Back at Digital Focus in Las Vegas, a media event during CES, I had a chance to get a look at the SCH-i760 from Samsung. It didn’t have a battery, but I knew I wanted to check it out. I realized later that the reason it wasn’t been shown powered up was that Windows Mobile 6 was coming and it was probably already running it.

Anyhow, 10 months later and here we are… The Unboxing of the Verizon Samsung SCH-i760. Video of the unboxing and more photos after the jump…

inthebox

Verizon formally announced the SCH-i760 last week and it’s on their website now. ( Link )
